Waduk Jatiluhur is located in West Java, Indonesia, approximately two hours by road from Jakarta. We provide airport and hotel transfers from Jakarta as part of our fishing packages.

What species can I catch?

Our primary target species is Toman (Giant Snakehead), one of Asia's most exciting freshwater sportfish. Waduk Jatiluhur is also home to healthy populations of Butterfly Peacock Bass and Temensis Peacock Bass, providing exciting lure fishing throughout the year.

Do I need fishing experience?

Not at all. Whether it's your first time targeting Toman or you're an experienced lure angler, our guides will tailor the day to suit your skill level and help you get the most from your trip.

What fishing techniques do you use?

We specialise exclusively in artificial lure fishing. Topwater fishing for Toman is our signature experience, although we also use a variety of other lure fishing techniques depending on conditions and the target species.

Is fishing tackle included?

Fishing tackle can be provided on request. If you prefer, you're welcome to bring your own rods, reels, lures, and terminal tackle.

What is included in the package?

What should I bring?

We recommend bringing lightweight clothing, polarised sunglasses, sunscreen, a hat, insect repellent, comfortable footwear, any personal medications, and your passport if travelling from overseas.

What time of year is best for Toman fishing?

Toman can be targeted throughout the year at Waduk Jatiluhur. Fishing conditions vary with the seasons, and our guides adapt techniques and locations to maximise your chances of success.

Can non-fishing partners join the trip?

How do I book a trip?

How do I get to Waduk Jatiluhur?

Most international visitors fly into Jakarta (Soekarno–Hatta International Airport). We will meet you at the airport or your Jakarta hotel and provide private transport directly to Waduk Jatiluhur.
